When Daisy Pearl Draper was born in June 1882 in Alton, Illinois, her father, Benjamin, was 35 and her mother, Sarah, was 30. She married Lynn Boyd Pence about 1904. She had three children by the time she was 26. She died on April 2, 1937, at the age of 54.
