Siloam Springs — Leslie Wallis, 81, a resident of Gentry, died at his home Saturday afternoon alter an extended illness. He was a native of Gonzales, Tex. and moved to Gentry 15 years ago from Houston. He was a refired transit company employe.
Survivors include the widow, Birdie, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. E. M. Heard of Kingsville, Tex. and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Dudersadt of San Antonio, Tex.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Gentry. Burial will he in Gentry Cemetery under direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
