WINES, Enos V. - Funeral services over the remains of Enos V. Wines, age 69 years, eight months and thirteen days, who died at his home near Gentry at 1:15 o'clock Monday morning, were held at the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon with Rev. C.O. Hall officiating. Burial followed in the Gentry cemetery under the direction of Carpenter Bros. The deceased was born in Wisconsin July 12, 1859. He came to this section eight years ago, remaining here the remainder of his days. For the past three years he has conducted a lunch room in Gentry. He was married to Hattie Briggs in Kansas in 1884. Four children were born to this union, two of whom preceded the father in death. He is survived by the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Lela Kilburn of Gentry, and one son, Roy Wines of Los Angeles, Calif., two grandchildren and three sisters and two brothers in Kansas. The departed was a faithful member of the Methodist church. The sorrowing ones have the sympathy of all.
