Bruce E. Taylor, 76, of Camden (Ouachita County), a native of Vilonia, died Wednesday (Oct. 29, 1997) at his home.
Born Oct. 14, 1921, son of Basil O. and Lydia Paul Taylor, he was a retired teacher and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors are his wife, Octavia Donnell Taylor; two sons, Donnell Taylor of Camden and James G. Taylor of Lubbock, Texas; three daughters, Josephine Kilduff of Conway, Charlotte Taylor of Blanco, Texas, and Sammy Floyd of Strong (Union County); two brothers, O. B. Taylor of Conway and Amiel Taylor of Sherwood; a sister, Mildred Harris of Little Rock; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Greg Rickel officiating. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
Pallbearers were Bill Floyd, Dennis Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Lloyd Scifers, David Hohnbaum and Rodney Kilduff.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
