GENTRY — Charles Clifford Gilmore, 93 year old resident of Gentry, Ark., died Nov. 6, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Ark. Born July 10, 1922 in Cuba, Ill., he was the son of Alva Marion Gilmore and Mildred Myrtle (Manion) Gilmore Charles married Marjorie Chambers in 1945. He spent about half of his working life as a farmer before changing careers and going into new home construction. Charles was a former member of First Christian Church in Gentry, Ark.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie; one daughter, Ronda Wilson; two granddaughters, Jeannie Popejoy and Amy Faye; two brothers, Lawrence Gilmore and Cecil Gilmore;
and two sisters, Faye Wheeler and Rita Widger.

He is survived by five children: Karen White of Glendale, Ariz., Linda Frizzell and husband, Steve of Forest Hill, Texas, Martha Freeman and husband, Rob of New River, Ariz., Charles Mark Gilmore of Tulsa, Okla., and Kevin Gilmore of Siloam Springs, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark. with Mr. Jim Whisenant officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Ark. Marjorie Lee Gilmore, 64, of Gentry, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, at her home.

Born March 12, 1926, in Fulton County, Ill., to Oma Chambers and Essie France Chambers, she was a former snack bar manager. She moved to Gentry seven years ago from Mesa, Ariz. She was affiliated with First Christian Church in Gentry.

Survivors are her husband, Charles Gilmore; two sons, Mark Gilmore of Westville, Okla., and Sgt. Kevin Gilmore of the 142nd National Guard Unit in Saudi Arabia; four daughters, Ronda Wilson of Glendale, Ariz., Karen White of Phoenix, Ariz., Linda Frizzell of Forest Hill, Texas, and Martha Aguinaga of Phoenix, Ariz.; her mother, Essie Chambers of McComb, Ill.; two sisters, Mildred Hickenbottom, and Dorothy Heller, both of Table Grove, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral is set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam Springs with the Rev. John Butts and Jim Roberts officiating. Burial is to be in Gentry Cemetery.
