Ulas Ervin Hollaway, 90, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away April 22, 2012, at his son’s home. Born September 30, 1921, in Una, Arkansas, he was the son of Jess Hollaway and Flossie Beverage Hollaway. Ulas was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was a truck driver and foreman for Allen Canning Company, Siloam Springs, until his retirement. He was a member of First Christian Church, Siloam Springs. On July 20, 1940, he married Sadie Beverage in Yuma, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Eaves; and one grandchild.

Survivors include his wife Sadie of the home; one son, Bob Hollaway of Siloam Springs; one daughter, Joan Stalnaker of Neosho, Missouri; eight grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; one brother, Glen Hollaway, Siloam Springs; and one sister, Aubie Murray of Santa Clara, California.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at First Christian Church, Siloam Springs, with Dean Boyers officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Arkansas. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
