Mr. Tommy Lee Sales, 53, of Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, departed this life on Saturday evening, December 20, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Arkansas, after a lengthy illness.
Tommy entered this life on September 9, 1961, in Stuttgart, Germany, born to the union of the late Malcolm Wayne and Cathern Louise (Lowe) Sales. He moved with his family to Sulphur Springs, Arkansas, in 1974 and was a 1980 graduate of Gravette High School. He furthered his education by attending Crowder College’s automotive program. He was a former employee of both Blevins Motor Company and Peterson Industries. Tommy enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and being outdoors.
Tommy is survived by his fiancé, Lisa Johnson of the home; two daughters, Elizabeth Fox and husband, Thomas, of Gravette, Arkansas and Shauna Sales of Sulphur Springs; a stepson, Joshua Johnson also of Sulphur Springs; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Sales and wife, Luwane, of Grove, Oklahoma and Mike Sales of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Lisa Cory and husband, Stormi, of Noel, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Sales are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, in the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Pastor David Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Joshua Johnson, Matt Sales, Jon Sales, Tristin Cory, Kenneth Good, Derek Sales, Erick Sales and Tony Ramirez. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website www.ozarkfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri.
