Wanda Lea Curtis Younger

Wanda Lea Curtis Younger, 77, of Horseshoe Bend, formerly of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2006 in Melbourne. She was born Friday, February 22, 1929 in Thurman, Iowa and was the daughter of George Frederick Curtis and Erma Ellen (Kephart) Curtis.

She was a retired Nurse’s Aid a member of the Extension Homemaker’s Club in Mt. Pleasant and a Presbyterian.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Alie “Rosalie Mae” Kyral of Horseshoe Bend; a grandson, Mark Kyral; a granddaughter, Kelli Clark; two great-granddaughters, Autumn and Wynter Kyral; and two sisters, Wava Jean Pierce of Sidney, Iowa and Donna Ball of Glenwood, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: Buryl Pierce and Charles Younger; and one brother, Russell Curtis.

Pallbearers will be David Webb, Paul Hook, Collie Shaw, Steve Johnson, Josh Webb, James Coy Bray, J. T. Evans and Monte Pierce.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11 at the Roller-Crouch Chapel in Melbourne with Brother Alvin Wiles officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Barren Fork Cemetery in Mt.Pleasant under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
