GENTRY — George Ronald "Ken" Kennedy, 79, of Gentry, Ark., died Dec. 20, 2011, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Ark. Born Feb. 1, 1932, in Pawtucket, R.I., he was the son of George Patrick Kennedy and Olive Harrison Kennedy.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He lived in Anchorage, Alaska, and Fontana, Calif., before moving to Gentry 34 years ago. George was a retired truck driver fur McKee Foods, Gentry. In 1999, be married Willa Marie Morris in Eureka Springs, Ark.
Survivors include his wife, Willa, of the home; three sons, Tony Morris and wife, Regina, of Siloam Springs, Ark., Tim Morris of Gentry, Ark., and Clark Morris and wife, Jenni, of West Siloam Springs, Okla.; three daughters, Linda Carl and husband, Steve, Janie Parks and husband, Mike, all of Gentry, and Susan Morris of Fayetteville. Ark.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with Dr. Robin Cowin and the Rev. Earl Stapleton officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery, Gentry, Ark.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

Anita Jean Kennedy, 58, of Gentry died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 1994, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Born Jan. 25, 1936, at Brainerd, Minn., a daughter of Vernon J. and Vera R. Cayo Bacheller, she was a homemaker and a Methodist. She moved to Northwest Arkansas from California in 1975.
Survivors are her husband, George Ronald "Ken" Kennedy of the home; a daughter, Linda Colleen Carl of Gentry; her mother of Gentry; a brother, Gilbert Bacheller of Niceville, Fla.; a sister, Lucille Cox of Gentry; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Gentry Cemetery with Pastor Glenn Hill officiating. Arrangements are by the Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.
