Veteran Dies Result of Injury By Mule
Isaac C Cornelison, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Cornelison of Mount Comfort, who died Monday at City Hospital from injuries received in an accident sustained about ten days ago, was buried Tuesday afternoon, funeral services being held at Son's Chapel by Rev. E. M. Freyschlag. Death was caused by an infection of wounds received when Mr. Cornelison was thrown from a mule on his farm, into shrubbery, a snag of which pierced his neck.
The deceased was a veteran of the late war, having enlisted as a private with the provisional infantry, Company G, 910 A. E. F. June 23, 1918 and sailed for France August 14, 1918. He returned home June 30, 1919, and his name was placed upon the honor roll of the Mount Comfort Church. He was born January 18, 1895, and united with the Free Will Baptist Church at the age of 15. He is survived by his parents and other relatives.
