Mrs. Elizabeth Couch, 85 years of age, died Friday at Rogers. She was the mother of J.C. Couch of Fayetteville and the remains were taken to Sons Chapel northeast of Fayetteville for interment.

COUCH, Elizabeth - {from Rogers R.F.D. No. 5} Elizabeth Williams was born Dec. 13, 1821 in Davidson Co., Tenn. At the age of 13, with her mother, moved to Ray Co., Mo. Married December 28, 1845 to J.E. Couch and to them seven children were born, four of whom survive her. Lived in Ray Co., Mo. until 1899, when she came to Arkansas to make her home with W.G. Couch. Joined the M.E. church, South at the age of 14. Died February 16, 1906 and was buried near Fayetteville, We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones.
