1918 - 1998
Mary Josephine Crafton Cross, 80, of Conway, died Friday (Sept. 11, 1998) at Conway Regional Medical Center.
Born July 25, 1918, in Conway, a daughter of Leo H. Crafton Sr. and Maybelle Hildreth Crafton, she was the widow of George Cross, a school teacher, a member of the PEO and the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her brother, Leo "Hippo" Crafton Jr. of Conway.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Griffin Leggett-Conway with the Rev. Dale Wicker officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Conway by Griffin Leggett-Conway.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Joe White, Burvin Alread, Phil Smith, Rush Harding, Dr. Robert Hook and Bill Wallace.
