Lacy DeShea Elkins, 14, of Farmington, died Saturday, March 25, 2006, in Fayetteville.

She was born Dec. 3, 1991, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Garin Heath and Tanya Sue Waits Elkins. She was an eighth-grade student at Ramay Junior High School. She was athletic in playing basketball, softball and cheering. She attended Falls Creek First Baptist Church Camp, where she accepted the Lord. She was very outgoing and loved life.

She is survived by her parents, Heath and Tanya Elkins of Farmington; one brother, Colby Elkins of the home; one sister, Lauren Elkins of the home; paternal grandparents, Gary and Helen Elkins of Fayetteville; maternal grandparents, Leon and Barbara Waits of Fayetteville; paternal great-grandmother, Doris Elkins of Fayetteville; paternal great-grandparents, Cecil and Jackle Clevenger of Fayetteville; maternal great-grandmother, Norma Hankins of Fayetteville; maternal uncles, Madden and Melissa Waits of Highfill and Jason and Gina Waits of Farmington; maternal aunt, Monica and Rob Suggs of Springdale/Elkins; paternal uncle, Marty Elkins of Farmington and numerous cousins.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Farmington Baptist Church. Burial will be held in Son's Chapel, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel.
