Leon L. McKeehan, 79, Fayetteville, died Feb. 5 in a Fayetteville hospital. Born Dec. 2, 1895, in Texarkana, he was the son of James W. and Pearl Lomax McKeehan, a member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church and was chief accountant and business manager at the University of Arkansas for 18 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lillian Durham McKeehan of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Makeel Gray, Dallas, Tex., and Mrs. Marleen Venema, Fayetteville; one brother, Gene Haak, Texarkana; and one sister, Mrs. Velma Routon, Texarkana; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, with Dr. Paige Patterson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Dan McKee. Burial will be in Don's Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
