ROGERS — Mary Cay Crowley, 93, of Rogers, passed away on Feb. 27, 2015.

She will be remembered for her quick wit, her smile and laughter that reflected in her beautiful turquoise eyes, and her quiet way to inspire all of us to be kinder, more giving people.

Born in 1921 in Arlberg, Ark., she spent her youth living in Missouri and Arkansas with her family, Methodist minister father William, mother Crystal (Clark) Hollingsworth and siblings.

Mary Cay went on to college, became a pilot and served as one of the first female air traffic controllers. She married her beloved late husband George and traveled the world with their two daughters.

George and Mary Cay retired in 1972 enjoying their home on beautiful Beaver Lake.

Mary Cay was a loving and cherished wife, mother and grandmother. She was an enthusiastic volunteer and a person who lived her life enjoying helping others. Her spirit still touches many lives.

She will be deeply missed by her family including daughters, Holly Fields (husband, Warren) of Rogers, Peggy Neathery (husband, Sam) of Wilmington, N.C.; grandchildren, Darryl Marks, Nancy Allard, Stephanie Marks, Jennifer O'Toole and Tim Neathery; great-grandchildren, Megan, Madelyn, McKenzi, and Macy Jo Marks, Sarah Brewer, Solomon, Luke, and Eliza Allard, Kylie and Owen O'Toole, Peyton and Campbell Neathery; and great-great-grandchildren, Alexander, Naomi, and Astrid.

Visitation will be held at 1 p.m with funeral services held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Mary Cay Crowley Fund for Excellence at Arkansas Support Network (www.supports.org).
