GARFIELD — Jeannie Strout, age 59, of Garfield died Aug. 27, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. She was born in Rogers on Aug. 24, 1953.

Jeannie was the unit secretary on the second and third floors at St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, and became the sixth floor unit secretary for Mercy Medical Center when they built the new campus. She was a member of the Southern Baptist denomination.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Strout; daughter, April Strout of Rogers; parents, Gene and Louise (Fletcher) Taylor of Garfield; sister, Lynda Maniscalco and husband, Joe, of Mobile, Ala.; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of Rollins Funeral Home, officiated by Chaplain Steve Dykes. Burial will follow in Ruddick Cemetery near Garfield.

Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
