FAYETTEVILLE — Barbara Ann West, 71, of Fayetteville, Ark., beloved mother, went to be with the Lord, Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at her daughter's residence in Rogers. She was born May 3, 1941, in Coal Hill, Ark., to Clyde V. Page and Lorene Lewis Page.

She lost her mother at an early age and was blessed to have been raised by her father and the only mother she ever knew, Minnie Page. She had great faith, and was a wonderful example of a Christian wife, mother and friend. She touched many lives with her great wisdom and advice. She was surely one of God's angels on earth.

Barbara was an avid reader. As a young girl, while growing up in Fort Smith, Ark., she spent many happy hours reading at the Carnegie library and continued reading her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 56 years, Perry David West Jr., Feb. 18, 2012.

Survivors include three daughters, Debra West and Karen Rife of Rogers, Ark., Leslie Bowser and husband, Russ, and precious granddaughter, Michaela Anderson, all of Long Neck, Del.; two brothers, Butch Page and Jim Keeton of Van Buren, Ark.; two sisters-in-law, Helen Botterbrodt and Lavada West, both of Fayetteville, Ark.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
