Jack Glendon Ames, 53, Rt. 1, Fayetteville, died Dec. 19 in St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Okla. Born Dec. 15, 1925, in Greenville, Texas, he was the son of H.O. and Mary K. Yancey Ames, a member of the Methodist Church, a retired brick mason and constructor and an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Virginia Lee Ames of the home; three sons, Paul Ames of Springdale, Gary Ames and Clay Ames of the home; one daughter, Mrs. James (Susan) Leslie of Fayetteville; his mother of Fayetteville; two brothers, J.T. Ames of Springdale Bill Ames of Fayetteville; and one sister, Mrs. Jack (Chloe Nell) Scott of Tulsa, Okla.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Goshen Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Chapel. Memorials may be made to Goshen Church of the Nazarene.
