Monday, January 12, 1987
Nolan A. Banks, 83, of Hindsville, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 1987, in a Huntsville hospital. Born Aug. 30, 1903, at Johnson, the son of James Mayfield and Nancy Elizabeth Horn Banks, he was a retired farmer, a lifetime resident of the area and attended Goshen United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Viola E. Graham Banks of the home; a son, Charles M. Banks of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Emma Banks of Fayetteville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Goshen Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Goshen United Methodist Church.
