Sanford Paul Goodwin age 72 of Cave City died Sunday June 30, 2013 at a Batesville hospital. He was born March 29, 1941 at Lynn, Arkansas to Ozro Mark Goodwin and Effie Lingo Goodwin. He was retired from the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department where he worked for 16 years as a supervisor of electrical, mechanical and plumbing for district headquarters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nina Casper.

Survivors include his loving wife, Loretta Moore Goodwin of Cave City (formerly of Forrest City) to whom he married on October 14, 1960; one son, Paul Goodwin of Mesa, Arizona; three brothers, Jerry Goodwin of Lynn, R.C. Goodwin of Batesville and Larry Goodwin of Calamine; four sisters, Joyce Goodman of Somers, New York, Barbara Penn of Leaf River, Illinois, Aleta Miller of Doniphan, Missouri and Jane Ward of Jensen Beach, Florida; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dry Creek Cemetery located at Lynn with Bro. Terrel Neeley officiating. Arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Loretta Moore Goodwin, 77 of Batesville passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was born November 21, 1943 in Forrest City, Arkansas to Charles and Maggie Moore. She was a retired Registered Nurse and of the Christian faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sanford Goodwin and a son, Paul Goodwin.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Lynn with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Arrangements are by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
