Wyona "Rusty" McNairn, of Evening Shade, daughter of the late Bill Splawn and Bertha Stevens Splawn, was born April 25, 1920 in Mangum, Oklahoma. She died November 1, 2011 at
White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas, at the age of 91 years 6 months and 7 days.
She was united in marriage to Randell McNairn June 17, 1967 in Franklin, Arkansas. She was owner/ operator of a dog kennel for many years and she was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Church in Evening Shade.
Survivors include her husband Randell McNairn; her children, Marlene Rivers and husband Henry of Evening Shade, Bobby Steel and wife Laverne of Bismarck, Missouri and Ronnie Steel of Grants Pass, Oregon; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 sister Elvie Detzman and her father and mother.
