Mrs. Edna P. Foster, 78, of 705 Ash St., widow of Arthur Foster, died yesterday (March 31, 1987) at her home.

Born April 24, 1908, at Mount Vernon, she was the daughter of John W. and Virginia Belle Fisher Ussery. She was a retired employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and a member of College Avenue Church of the Nazarene and the Telephone Pioneers of America.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Iva Leigh Brown of California.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at McNutt Chapel with the Revs. Robert Hollis and Dean Clements officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
