Glen attended elementary school in Hughes, AR and completed his secondary education in Conway, AR. He began working for Olsen's Music and Photo Center about 1972 while still in high school. Glen started working for Fast Photo in 1999 and continued there until 2007 when he was no longer able to work. He was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church in Conway.
