Rev. Philip Turpin, 91, of Conway, died Saturday, September 8, 2007. He was born July 29, 1916, in Richmond, Kentucky, to the late John Cruse Turpin and Carganie Wade Turpin. He was a retired minister, painter and a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Virginia; one daughter, Elizabeth Willis of White Oak, Missouri; four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Services are 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 11, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Rev. Evan Allen Reeves officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
