Delbert E. Browning, 83 of El Dorado, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas following a lengthy illness. Born December 30, 1927 in Brookville, Indiana he was the son of Leander and Nannie Browning. He had worked many years as a mechanic for Bussey Exxon and had served twelve years in the U.S. Army. Preceding him in death along with his parents were his wife Janice Faye Browning, a step-son, Larry C. Reynolds and four sisters. Survivors include one step-son, Michael F. Reynolds and his wife Judy of El Dorado, one step-daughter, Patricia Ferrante of Salinas, California, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation services by Bailey Funeral Home.
