Billie �Bill� Charlene Thacker Cooper, 89, of Little Rock, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2014. Bill was born on May 12, 1924 to the late Charlie and Bevie Thacker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Bill is survived by her husband, Joel Aubrey Cooper; three sons: Chris Cooper (Kathy) of Little Rock, Marc Cooper (Donna) of Johnson City, TN, and Clay Cooper (Cindi) of Murfreesboro, TN; and daughter-in-law, Anita Ladensack (Joe) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Emily Hortman, Matthew Cooper, Josh Cooper, Charlie Cooper, Casy Brian, and Andee Parks; great-granddaughters: Lillian Cooper, Caraline Brian, Catherine Mac Hortman, Ruby Cooper, and Cadence Cooper. Bill was preceded in death by her son, Paul Cooper, and her grandsons, John Cooper and Wesley Cooper.

Celebration of Bill�s life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in the Cokesbury Center, First United Methodist Church, 723 Center Street, Little Rock. Arrangements by Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, AR 72211, Phone: 501-224-8300.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Bill and Joel Cooper Duke Divinity School Seminary Scholarship Fund at the United Methodist Foundation, 5300 Evergreen, Little Rock, AR 72205.
