*Obituary
Thula Louise Daniels Priddy, known to friends as Louise and to her father as "Bug", passed away peacefully in Maryville, TN, on September 17, 2015, after a long, happy life of 95 years.
Louise was born on October 13, 1919 in Union County, Arkansas, graduating from Myrtle Grove School where she achieved All State status playing women's basketball. School is also where she met the love of her life.
Immediately after graduating, Louise married Lewellyn Beile Priddy, one of a set of identical twins. She always said those boys were full of mischief and would go out on each other's dates just for the fun of it, but she wasn't to be fooled. She spotted the one she wanted immediately. The couple was married for 65 years and raised three children, Richard, Caro and Beth, in the home they built not far from her mother and father in the Myrtle Grove community.
Louise is survived by those three children, their spouses and ex-spouses, seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and their offspring. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, T.W. and Sally Daniels, her sister, Betty, and brother, Odell, as well as her beloved husband, Beile.
Louise was a diehard Razorbacks fan and would give the UA hog call to anyone in Tennessee who doubted this fact. She made a mean chocolate pie, was an expert seamstress, and could be relied upon to produce the perfect formal as required by Caro or Beth for the "banquets" given at Norphlet High School; either by creating the dresses or borrowing from generous, unsuspecting neighbors. She dabbled in paint and was known to be a better-than-average amateur artist. She leaves behind some beautiful paintings of the Arkansas countryside. After selecting their favorites, her heirs will be donating the remainder of her artwork to the Hillsboro Church of Christ where she and Beile attended, devoted their lives, and made many life-long friends.
A reception for those wishing to pay their respects, is to be held at Young's Funeral Home, Monday morning, September 21st, between the hours of 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. A graveside memorial service will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
There, Louise will at last be laid to rest beside her sweetheart, Beile
