Beloved Wife of Robert E. Adair
Mother of Eddie and Tommy Adair
Mrs. Anna B. Adair, 49, of 130 N. Broadway St., died Tuesday morning in a local hospital following a protracted illness. She was born in Lott, Tex., July 2, 1920, the daughter of Arvel W. and Julia Patterson Smith. She had been a resident of El Dorado for the past 21 years and was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Adair, Sr.; two sons, Robert E. Adair, Jr., Many, La. and Thomas Jeffry Adair, Shreveport, La.; her mother, Mrs. A. W. Smith, Bryan, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Roy Miller, Bryan, Tex.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services have been scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday in Rumph Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Alan Abraham officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Anthony Kassos, Herbert Callaway, Preston B. Wooley, Ned Martin, Dr. Sol Carter and John Bell. (El Dorado Times - February 4, 1970)
