June 23, 1947 - April 25, 1965
Funeral services for Harry Freeman Hamby, 17, of Rt. 3, who was killed in an automobile accident shortly after midnight Saturday were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Pratt Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Hale and Rev. M. H. McManus officiating. Burial was in Rest Haven Cemetery under the direction of Pratt Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Charles Nipper, Berry Peppers, Buck Webb, Alan Eason, Mike Dickson and Johnny Johnson. Hamby is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph F. Hamby, Rt. 3; a sister, Miss Marry Hamby of the home; a brother, Clifton A. Hamby of the home; and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dexhelmer, Sedalia, Mo.
