Mary Irene Rush, 83, of Corning, died Dec. 8, 2008 at St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs.
Mrs. Rush was born April 28, 1925 in Wardell, MO daughter of Joseph Cheshire and Exie Glidwell Cheshire. She was a homemaker and a member of Old Millhouse Baptist Church.
In 1943 she was united in marriage to Cecil Thomas Rush. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include sons Richard and Thomas both of Evansville, IN., Curtis of Poplar Bluff, J.C. and Floyd both of Corning; daughters Jean Rush and Melissa Rush both of Hot Springs, Colene Jackson of Tracy, CA; 17 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons Lon Ray (1975) and Donnie (2003) and daughter Mary Laverne David (1978).
Funeral services were conducted Fri. Dec. 12, 2008 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home with Fred Pringle officiating. Burial under the direction of Rush Funeral Home.
