Mr. Clarence Eugene "Jim" Headley, 88, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 at home.
Mr. Headley was born in Maynard, AR., on June 30, 1928.
He retired from Corning Bank after thirty-one years of service. He enjoyed gardening and making picture frames.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II. He was a member of the House of Prayer in Corning.
He married his wife Norma O. (Simpson) Headley on October 6, 1946. She survives.
Other survivors include son Gene Headley of Corning, AR.; brother Paul Headley of Corning, AR.; sister Veda Asher of Richland, MO.; five grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Eugene and Mrytle (Rogers)Headley; brother Thomas Jackson Headley; daughter-in-law Linda Headley; two grand-daughters Leslie Reed and Lynette Payne.
Funeral services were in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Corning Cemetery.
