Mr. John Eli Gleghorn, Jr., 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jonesboro, AR.

Mr Gleghorn was born in Knobel, AR., on July 3, 1932.

Mr. Gleghorn was a car dealer who enjoyed working on cars and houses. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a member of Corning Church of Christ.

He married his wife of 60 years JoeAnn (Thomas) Gleghorn on July 6, 1953, she survives. O

ther survivors include four children Tony Gleghorn and wife Patricia of Corning, AR., Terry Gleghorn and wife Diann of Corning, AR., Teresa and husband Terry Capp of Poplar Bluff, MO., Tracy Gleghorn and wife Lana of Corning, AR.; three sisters Dortha Hunt of Siloam Springs, AR., Alberta Biltoff of West Plains, MO., Rosanne Wonser of Coolidge, AZ.; six grandchildren John E. Lane, John J. Gleghorn, Jayson D. Lane, Michael R. Gleghorn, Trey E. Gleghorn, Julie E. Lane; four great-grandchildren Carlee K. Gleghorn, John G. Gleghorn, Lucas A. Gleghorn, and Ace Allen West.

He was preceded in death by parents John Eli and Bessie (Fernimen) Gleghorn; one brother Donald Gleghorn and one sister Carmen (Gleghorn) Wood.

Funeral services were in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Corning Cemetery.
