MELBOURNE – Faye Brooks Gilson, 72, of Melbourne died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, in a Mountain Home hospital.
Born Sept. 5, 1931, she was the daughter of Thomas Washington Brooks and Eva Moser Brooks. She worked for the Baxter Laboratory in Mountain Home for 22 years.
Survivors include a son, Billy Fitzsimmons of Melbourne; two daughters, Bobbi Willis and Carol Bishop, both of Melbourne; four grandchildren, Justin Bishop, Jennifer Brenman, Mandy Fitzsimmons and Adam Fitzsimmons; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bob Gilson; a brother, Bud Brooks; and a sister, Velma Banning.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Reeves Cemetery with Seth Stoner officiating. Arrangements are by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Howard, David Morris, Jim Haley, John Teague, Eudell Smith and Loyd Johnson.
