CORNING -- Charles Vondel Taylor, 71, of Corning died Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006. Survivors include his wife, Vida Taylor; two sons, Vondel Taylor and Shawn Taylor of Corning; one daughter, Vicky Guthery of Dallas; and two brothers, Bill Taylor and John Taylor of Corning. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today in Ermert Funeral Home at Corning. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jim Parrish officiating. Interment will follow in Corning Cemetery.
