Sid Hollis, 91, of Corning, Ark. died Monday at the Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.
Mr. Hollis had worked at Brook Sheeks Lumber, Arnold Brothers Lumber Company and the J.W. Black Lumber Company. He was retired. He was married to Gertie Carter.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Hollis of Corning, Junior Hollis of Hemet, Calif. and Jackie Hollis of Rockford, Ill.; three brothers, Gerald Hollis of St. Louis, Jimmy Hollis of Kennett and Bid Hollis of Corning; one sister, Violet Southerly of St. Louis; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. The funeral service was 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Billy Snow officiating.
