Hugh Ritter, age 70, died at his home at Elm Springs recently from cancer of the face. He was one of Washington county's oldest citizens and was born and raised in that county. He lost two sons in the World War, one dying in action and the other in a hospital.

Springdale, Nov. 2.- Funeral services were held today for Hugh Ritter who died Friday at his home in Elm Springs. He is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons. Two sons were killed in France.
