SWIFT, Mrs. C.E. - Mrs. Swift, wife of Dr. C.E. Swift of Goshen dropped dead last Friday evening while her husband was away from home on a professional visit. Besides a husband there are several small children to mourn her untimely death. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at Goshen by Rev. P.C. Fletcher of this city.

Mrs. Swift, wife of Dr. Swift of Goshen, died suddenly Friday afternoon at her home at that place. Mrs. Swift was canning fruit and sent the two small children, who were at home, to get some sugar for use in her work. When they returned they found their mother lying in the door dead. Death is said to have been caused from heart disease. Funeral services were held Saturday, conducted by Rev. P.C. Fletcher of Fayetteville. Besides her husband deceased is survived by five children, three sons and two daughters. Dr. Swift and family have resided at Goshen for several years past and the deceased was held in highest esteem by those who knew her and much regret is expressed at her untimely death.
