Gary Welton Harrington, 66, of Greenbrier passed from this life on Sunday, March 20, 2016. He was born on November 25, 1949 in Conway, AR to Welton and Marie Hegi Harrington. He was preceded in death by his father, Welton; paternal grandparents, Joseph Lafayette and Bertha C. Reynolds Harrington; and maternal grandparents, John and Della Nicholson Hegi.
Gary was known for his carpentry skills and was a handyman for many people in Greenbrier. He was an avid fisherman and a huge Razorback fan. He also enjoyed gardening. He was a member of the Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene and helped build the original part of the church.
He is survived by his mother, Marie; two brothers, Leroy Harrington (Joyce) of Guy and Ricky ''Tadpole'' Harrington of Greenbrier; two nephews, Tom Harrington (LeeAnn) of Vilonia and Toby Harrington (Melanie) of Guy; four great nieces; and one great nephew.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene. Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the church. Interment will follow at Thorn Cemetery in Greenbrier.
