ROGERS — Frankie C. VanScoy, 91, of Rogers died Sept. 24, 1995, at a local nursing center. She was born Nov. 23, 1903, in Vidalia, Ga., to Andrew Franklin and Ida Jane Davis Collins. She graduated from the Wauchula, Fla., school system in 1922. She was a homemaker and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. She was a former resident of Tulsa, Okla., and Tucson, Ariz., before returning to Rogers in May 1995. She was an avid fisherman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey O. VanScoy and one daughter, Evelyn Louise Attix, in 1991.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Spring Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. James Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in Spring Creek Cemetery. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Home of Rogers.
