December 15, 1928 - December 5, 2014
Marvin Doyle Short, 85, of North Little Rock passed away December 5, 2014.
He was a retired machinist from Chicapee with 35 years of service and was a member of Levy Baptist Church. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict.
Marvin is survived by his wife of 58 years Billie Short of North Little Rock; son Michael (Betty) Hampton of Lonoke; daughter Donna (Carroll) Hardin of Conway; sister Oletta Bennett of Hiawassee, Georgia; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Homer Prince “Bud” and Luttie Farmer Short; daughter Shirley Short Halferty; two brothers, Leon Short and Homer Short; and sister, Pqueta Yearby.
Services will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Levy Baptist Church at 10:00 am.
Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Grizzard Cemetery
