She was the daughter of Henry Spencer and Phoebe (Coffee) Dix. She married John Ephraim Marr on Sept. 4, 1921, in Hickory Ridge, Cross, Arkansas. They were the parents of Earl, Juanita, Lyda, and Gloria Marr.
