James Herman White, 87, of Naylor, Mo. Passed away at his residence, March 6, 2014. He was born May 18, 1926 in Neelville, Mo. to the late John Logan White and Ada Bell Warren White.
On September 14, 1946 at Pocahontas, Ar. He was married to Juanita Marr. She survives.
Also surviving is one daughter Dianna White of Naylor, Mo. One sister, Velma Williams of Moark, Arkansas. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Raymond White, Melvin White and Marvin White.
Mr. White enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, mowing and gardening. He served on Naylor city counsel and had taught sunday school at his church the Naylor Missionary Baptist Church. Herman also served at Sunday School superintendent. He served in the United States Navy for four years during WWII.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 10 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville with Rev. Randy Hart officiating. Burial was in the Corning Cemetery in Corning, Ark.
