John Charles Wilfred Schultz, 86, Lacombe, La., died Dec. 5 in Slidell, La. Born June 29, 1890, in Smolan, Kan., he was the son of Frederick W. and Elizabeth Dopp Schultz, a retired carpenter and a Seven-Day Adventist.
Survivors include four sons, Frederick S. Schultz, Arvada, Colo., Samuel S. Schultz, Tennille Hill, Ga., Frank Schultz, Portland, Ga., and Thomas K. Schultz, Rossville, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Benson, Goshen, and Mrs. Ruby F. Bruden, Water Valley, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Sufficool, Hoyt, Kan.; one stepbrother, Frank Bonifield, Wichita, Kan.; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. in Goshen Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Leonard Lovell and the Rev. Donald Reed officiating. Burial was in Goshen Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
Pallbearers were Timothy Benson, Richard Benson, Ben Clark, Earl Troutt, Arthur Pitts and Bill Duke.
