Mrs. Rosie Haynie Jackson, 77, of Rosston, died July 31 at a hospital in El Dorado. She was born February 2, 1896, the daughter of William and Ollie Haynie. Funeral services were held Sunday, August at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church at Rosston, with burial in Harrison Chapel Cemetery by Smith Funeral Home of Stamps. Mrs. Jackson was a lifelong member of Harrison Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Tommie Jackson of Rosston; two sons, Haynie Jackson of Rosston, and Tommie Jackson, Jr of Detroit, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Hughey of Stephens; two brothers, Birk Haynie of Rosston, and William Haynie of Shreveport, La.; six sisters, Mrs. Mae Ida Watts, of Rosston, Mrs. Henrietta Morgan of Prescott, Mrs. Ollie Smith, Mrs. Ray Peters, Mrs. Lonnie Couch, and Mrs. Luellen Parker of Little Rock; eight grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
