John Richardson Dies Near Here, Monday
John "Johnnie" Richardson, of near Calico Rock, died Monday and was buried Tuesday, at the Combs Cemetery, near Melbourne. Funeral services were conducted by Rev M. C. Burton, the McClure Funeral Home being in charge of arrangement.
Mr Richardson was 65 years of age. He was married in 1901 to Vina Jennings, she died 12 years ago. Nine children were born to this union, of whom eight are still living – Mrs Audie Gillihan of Boswell, Ark., Mrs Lola Layton of Mt Olive, Ark., Hubert Richardson of Cleveland, Okla., Coy Richardson of Forty-Four, Ark., Mrs Zola Neal, Baird, Boyd and Marlin Richardson of Calico Rock. A brother, E. K. Richardson, of Forty-Four, a sister and fourteen grandchildren also survive.
