Mr. Richard Knowlton, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Knowlton was born in Corning, he was a salesman, he enjoyed fishing and was of the Baptist faith.

He married his wife Erma Dean (Holland) Knowlton on January 4, 1974, she survives. Other survivors include two children Richard Knowlton and Mary Woods; two step-children Cindy Counts and Jim Duff; three grandchildren Jeremy Woods, April Day and Shea Knowlton; four step-grandchildren Michael and Clay Counts, Jamie and Justin Duff; eight great-grandchildren; one brother Thomas Knowlton of Sterling Heights, MI.; two sisters Aline Noblin of Paragould, AR., and Nell Wilson of Longview, TX.

He was preceded in death by parents Almus and Roxie (Hager) Knowlton; nine brothers and sisters Leonard Knowlton, Leon Knowlton, Jewell Cozart, Clay Overby, Tiffany Knowlton, Louise Harper, Anna Marion McKinney, Leda Hayes and Alice Rickman.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.

Mrs. Erma Dean (Holland) Knowlton, 75, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center on Paragould, AR. Mrs. Knowlton was born in Corning, AR., on January, 17, 1940. She was a retired Assembler from Basler Electric Company, she also worked for East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, shopping, eating out at restaurants and loving on her dog Abby. She was Baptist in faith.

She married her husband Richard Knowlton on January 4. 1974, he preceded her in death on March 22, 2011.

She is survived by daughter Cindy Counts of Pollard, AR.; son Jim Duff of Corning, AR.; step-children Mary Woods of Corning, AR., Rick Knowlton of Cape Cod, MA.; sister Irene Berry of Doniphan, MO; brother Billy Joe Holland and wife Billie Sue of Saint Charles, MO.; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents John Eli and Ora Belle (Coffee) Holland; three brothers Sonny Holland, Floyd Holland, Johnny Holland; two sisters Ila McConnell and Ilene Greene.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 24, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carl Thomason officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 from 2:00 PM until the time of services.
