Amber Jean "A.J." Langston, 16, of Corning died Monday, June 12, at Regional Medical Center in Memphis.
Born at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was a student at Corning High School. She was in band and was a member of First Christian Church of Corning.
Survivors include her parents, Billy and Gail Langston of Corning, and four brothers, Alldan Langston of Corning and Aaron Langston, Allan Langston and Adam Langston, all of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Marvin C. and Betty J. Grimm and Alvie and Elsie Langston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Corning High School gymnasium, with the Rev. James Brunner officiating. Burial will be in Corning Cemetery under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a student visitation from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the gymnasium.
Memorials may be made to the Amber Langston Memorial Scholarship Fund.
