James Earl Myrick of Mountain View, Arkansas.
James Earl Myrick, son of the late James Myrick and Pearl Myrick, was born August 29, 1937 in Omaha, Arkansas. He departed this life September 2, 2015 in Mountain View, Arkansas at the age of 78 years and 4 days. He was united in marriage to Blanche Vernice Hutchins June 6, 1957 in Harrison, Arkansas and to this union four children were born. He spent his life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, provider and friend. During his working years, he was employed as a self-employed truck driver. He was of the Assembly of God faith and a member of the Pangburn Assembly of God.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: James Lester and Kim Myrick of Madison County, Arkansas; two daughters and one son-in-law: Tammy Hathaway of Sedalia, Missouri and Jeana and larry Cox of Searcy; six grandchildren: T. J. Myrick, Jessica Husky, Robin Estep, Mattie Cunningham, Rachael Hardin and Sully Cox; four great grandchildren: Hayden Stark, Hannah Armes, Trever Myrick and Tonilynn Husky and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife and one son: Tim Myrick.
Funeral service will be Friday, September 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Howard Memorial Funeral Chapel in Melbourne with Mark Smith officiating. Burial will be at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: R. H. Smith, John Smith, Charles Smith, George Smith, Mark Smith and Dean Hutchins.
