Alma Rush Moore, daughter of the late Ruford Rush and Virgie Vest Rush, was born Jan. 18, 1926 in Jumbo, AR. She died Sept. 9, 2011 at Melbourne. She was united in marriage to Neal John Moore Jan. 1977 in Yuma, AZ.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 34 years, Neal John Moore; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Philip and Linda Melton of Alma, and Jerry Melton of Fort Smith; two brothers, Cleo "Skinny" Rush and Franklin "Fuzzy" Rush of Jumbo; two sisters: Jewel Bundy of Tulsa, OK, and Vera Bowers of Frazier, TN; five grandchildren: Rodney Melton of Alma, Rhonda Didion-Jurgens of Fort Smith, Richard Melton of Fort Smith, Sandy Williams of Bentonville and Christina Sexton of Clarksville; 11 great grandchildren and. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: J.L. Rush and Harlin Rush; three sisters: Marie Blankenship, Bonnie Langston and Delores Easter.
Funeral service was Tues., Sept. 13, 2011 at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne. Burial followed in Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne.
Pallbearers: Franklin Rush, Rodney Melton, Jacob Didion, Jason Melton, Clovis Vest and Darrell Vest. Honorary Pallbearers: Richard Melton, Steve Rush, Roy Gillihan, Eric Melton, Cub Rush, Cleo Rush and Brad Jurgens.
