Mr. Ross Hancock, 76, of Rector, AR., passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Saint Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.
Mr. Hancock was born in Knobel, AR., on January 2, 1937.
He was a Farmer, he enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was of the Protestant Faith.
He married his wife of 43 years Bessie Faye (Gould) Hancock on August 19, 1968. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2012.
He is survived by two sons Johnny Ray Lucas of Pocahontas, AR., Billy Lucas of Paragould, AR.; two sisters Lucille Thomas of Hot Springs Village, AR., Ella Bell of Heber Springs, AR.; one brother Ray Gene Hancock of Albany, OR.; eight grandchildren and several great-grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents Charlie Harrison and Ethel Pearl (Morris) Hancock; three brothers Raymond Hancock, Russell Hancock, Robert Hancock; three sisters Ruth Hancock, Hazel Catt and Mary Stacy.
Funeral services were held in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Corning Cemetery.

Faye Hancock, 81, of Rector, AR., passed away May 15, 2012, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Hancock was retired from Basler Electric and of the Pentecostal faith.
On September 7, 1968, she was united in marriage to Ross Hancock. He survives.
Other survivors are sons Johnny Ray Lucas of Pocahontas and Billy Lucas of Paragould; seven grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Burial was in Corning Cemetery in Corning.
